Why? Why? Why?

An answer to the mass shootings in our country and our world. Another mass shooting, This time in Las Vegas. Another endless line of people, pundits, and politicians asking this question – Why? There is no answer to this question from a Godless world view. Only those relatively few individuals who truly know God by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ can answer this sad question. Why? Why? Why?

It is the heart of mankind. Jesus said it clearly in, Mark 7:21-23 - For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. One Godly man said it this way, “The evil that fills the earth is not something imposed on man from without, but something that he generates from within.” The “evil that fills the earth” comes from a lost mankind trying desperately, but unsuccessfully to change the “heart of men” from without. Religion, politics, money, sports, fame, success, etc, etc, are all efforts by doomed mankind to change “the heart of men.” The Godly prophet Jeremiah had some powerful words on this subject many years ago. Jeremiah 17:9 - The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

 So, a Godless society again asks this question, WHY? Will they be able to answer it? Doubtfully. I do not see it in the heart of modern man to turn to the truth that is to be found only in Jesus Christ. Isaiah had this to say, Isaiah 59:14 - And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yes, throughout our world, “truth is fallen in the street.” Yes, the hearts of men must be changed by entering into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the new birth. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. There is only one way to stop the senseless violence afflicting our world. Have you had your heart changed? John 3:3 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Have you been “born again?” John 3:7 – “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. For those of you that have been saved, that have been born again, take this opportunity to tell your friends, neighbors, and anyone who will listen this great truth, “Ye must be born again
